About

From his early 20’s, Michael knew that helping companies who help people would be the focus of his professional life.

For nearly 30 years, Michael has been a leading advisor on marketing, positioning and sustained business growth to a range of consumer health businesses, supporting companies including 18 years supporting Rodale Inc. in growing the Prevention and Men’s Health publishing brands, taking their book business from ground level to $300M per year, and project work and/or collaborations with such admired personalities as Dr. Andrew Weil, Dr. Mark Hyman, Dr. Deepak Chopra, Dr. Christiane Northrup, Dr. Daniel Amen, Dave Asprey of Bulletproof,  and companies such as; Vital Choice, Natural Health International, Reserveage, and Healthy Directions.

Throughout the year, Michael also leads Think Tank Sessions, a 2-day gathering for 6 founders to work on accelerated growth towards a clearly identified long game and the annual Consumer Health Summit, the private invitational gathering for founders, which he created in 1994.

As a speaker, he shares how brand voice, customer care and work culture combine to take companies and personal brands from merely good to the admired best at what they do.
